Hunter Biden and his baby-mama Lunden Alexis Roberts reached a final child support agreement to settle their paternity and child-support suit after an Arkansas judge blasted the Democrat frontrunner’s son for his repeated attempts to weasel out of depositions and financial disclosures in the case.
Biden’s lawyers told Judge Holly Meyer on Tuesday that he would not be able to attend a deposition on Wednesday because of the COVID-19 travel restrictions, and the approaching due date of his pregnant wife.
Judge Meyer rejected Biden’s argument that he needed to self-quarantine.

“The defendant can come by plane, train, or automobile but life and work will and should continue in our communities and courts,” she wrote in her three-page order Tuesday night. “No health threat specific to the defendant has been identified, reasonable precautions are appropriate.”
She pointed out that Biden had already been given “considerable leniency regarding continuances and delay” and rejected his wife’s pregnancy as sufficient grounds for yet another delay.
“The defendant’s spouse is not allowed to attend his deposition per the prior protective order restricting onlookers and her appearance at the pretrial hearing is not required nor even suggested,” she reasoned.
For months, Biden had refused to release financial documents—including his 2017 and 2018 personal tax returns—that could have exposed his business dealings abroad.
On Wednesday morning, lawyers for the plaintiff alerted the judge that they had reached a final settlement with Biden.
“Late last night, after the court entered the order, we reached a global, final settlement of all issues,” Roberts’ attorney Clint Lancaster wrote in an email to Judge Meyer.
Lancaster told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in a text message: “We have a global, final settlement of all issues. No depositions tomorrow.”
The terms of the agreement are under seal, according to Roberts’ lawyer.
“We will seek the court’s approval as soon as [Thursday] or Friday. Terms are to be sealed,” Lancaster wrote.
“Our client is very happy that her child is being supported by both parents and that this matter is fully resolved,” he added.
Brent Langdon, a lawyer for Biden confirmed that a deal had been reached.
“The parties have reached a compromised settlement” to resolve “All remaining issues and will be submitting a final order to the Court for approval,” Langdon told the Democrat-Gazette in an email Wednesday morning.
Pending court approval, the settlement will put an end to an embarrassing legal battle that simmered in the background of Joe Biden’s rocky campaign for nearly 10-months.
