The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced on Friday that the organization will launch a political arm in order to advance its cause.

The new group, America First Works, will seek “to transfer power back to the American people and away from government elites by engaging in grassroots advocacy to affect change at the federal, state, and local level.”

To begin, the group has already created an ad, which slams President Joe Biden and Democrats for the “Big Government” policies. The video will target key areas in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

“President Joe Biden is doing what he said he would do – eliminating the Trump tax cuts and raising taxes on hardworking American families. Unfortunately, his Build Back Better plan is Broke, Borrow, and Bankrupt. We implore Congress to do what’s right for the American people: Save America, Kill the Bill,” stated Ashley Hayek, executive director of America First Works.”

The group’s mission is to “fight for a pro-America America where freedom, equality and justice continue to be the foundation of the republic.”

Since its start, AFPI has been involved in many key events and has continued to expand its reach.

Former President Donald Trump, in partnership with AFPI, announced a class-action lawsuit against Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google and its CEO Sundar Pichai, and Twitter and its CEO Jack Dorsey, for violating his First Amendment rights.

Furthermore, the group created the Center for Election Integrity (CEI), which will conduct research and develop policies in the field of election integrity as it undergoes profound changes like technology and social media.

The AFPI is composed of nearly 40 former staff members of President Trump. According to the group, its goal is to “conduct research and develop policies that put the American people first.”
