Exclusive: Anti-White LGBT TikTok Star Identified as New Jersey Charter School Teacher

A TikTok influencer who frequently posts anti-white screeds and LGBT content on social media is a middle school teacher at a New Jersey charter school, The Star News Network can reveal.

Nairobi Colon teaches at KIPP Whittier Middle School in Camden, New Jersey. KIPP, which stands for Knowledge is Power Program, is a nationwide nonprofit network of charter schools, funded in part by private donors.

Colon, who says she is non-binary, often posts LGBT content on her TikTok account (archived here). She goes by Teacher Robi to avoid using the title “Ms.,” and Robi, is short for Nairobi.

The Star reached Colon by email Wednesday, and she confirmed that she is the owner of both the TikTok and Twitter accounts.

KIPP Schools did not return a comment request.

One recent video shows Colon coaching a young student on gender pronouns.

“Teacher Robi is not a she,” the child says. “Teacher Robi is not a he. Teacher Robi is a they.”

The video is captioned “I love when my kids get my pronouns right.”

In another TikTok video, Colon says the parents of her students often watch her videos. Asked if they find her content inappropriate, Colon uses one of her students in an attempt to prove that parents don’t mind her content. The student says her father watches the videos, and thinks it’s fine.

There are dozens of other TikTok videos centered around LGBT themes, including one where she rages at conservatives who say her gender identity has nothing to do with education.

In another, she does a mock interview with a male student who says he uses “they/them” as pronouns, and asks how he feels about having a non-binary teacher.

Colon has more than 400,000 followers on the social media site, but does not reveal her real identity there.

While her TikTok is packed with LGBT content, Colon’s Twitter (archived here) is packed with anti-white content, including content supporting violent riots.

“Growing up black you learn at an early age that life is unfair and there is not much you can do about it. So if looting and rioting is a way to cope and deal with the trauma that our life is not worth as much as our white counterparts then that’s what it is,” she said on Twitter in 2020, amid the riots following George Floyd’s death.

In another tweet she suggests that all white people are racists.

“White people are racist if you have a problem with that statement you don’t know how deeply rooted racism is in this world,” she said.

“At this point just throw America away. Just give the land back and start over,” she said in early 2021.

She has also recommended the book “How To Be An Anti-Racist” by controversial author Ibram X. Kendi, called former President Donald J. Trump a “white supremacist,” and made sure to update her followers, telling them she was okay, after she was pulled over by a white police officer.

Colon has more than 11,000 followers on Twitter, where she also does not reveal her true identity.

In a KIPP Whittier Facebook post, the school not only confirms that Colon is employed there, but also celebrates her non-binary gender identity.
