Congressional Democrats have promised to pack the Supreme Court if they take control and Joe Biden’s fraud-ridden election stands. Senate stalwarts like Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga), and David Perdue (R-Ga.) are leading the charge to end this threat by amending the United States Constitution to specify that the number of Supreme Court Justices will be nine, ending the court packing threat once and for all.
While Washington, D.C. is roiled in political uncertainty, incoming Arizona state representative Jake Hoffman has taken the bull by the horns by introducing a resolution calling for Congress to pass this constitutional amendment. Hoffman, a rising star in conservative, constitutional political circles has gotten the support of virtually every state representative and state senator, including the speaker of the Arizona house, senate president, house majority leader, majority whip, speaker pro tempore, senate president pro tempore, and senate majority leader. This is particularly important now that the state has two Democratic U.S. senators who will be called upon to pack the court.
Packing the Supreme Court is the exact kind of power play America can expect should Democrats take control of the Senate with Joe Biden in the White House. And on January 5, the state of Georgia will decide whether Chuck Schumer’s court packing dream will become a reality when they elect not one, but two U.S. Senators in run-off elections.
On January 6, Congress will decide whether the fraudulently certified Biden electors or Trump electors will be counted in determining who the president of the United States will be for the next four years. Even if, as many hope, President Trump and the two Georgia senators prevail, the Keep Nine Amendment remains of paramount importance to protect the Supreme Court from overt political manipulation in the future.
While many of us have been disappointed by the court’s lack of interest in maintaining election integrity, it is a reality that some of their tepid rulings are directly related to their court packing fears. The only way to stop this intimidation of those sworn to uphold our laws is to remove the threat by locking in the current nine justice standard.
For the past 80 years, liberal jurists have effectively dominated the Supreme Court with their stranglehold, only broken with the occasional case such as the Heller decision (which affirmed the individual right to keep and bear arms) slipping through based upon its obvious merits. Finally, with the addition of Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the court, there is a chance for bad precedents to be overturned. And that scares the heck out of the socialist Left in America.
A Supreme Court that enforces the constitutional rule of law frightens those who have relied upon the court to fight a cultural revolution against American constitutionalism on their behalf. While the jury is out on whether this court will have the courage to overturn some of the past decisions which have stretched the law beyond the breaking point, it is important that they know the ravenous far Left will not be able to destroy the integrity of the court through a packing scheme.
