A group of protesters recently gathered at the U.S. Senate to protest the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, but refused to answer questions regarding the allegations against Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN-05).
The Daily Caller’s Stephanie Hamill went to the Senate to interview protesters, who are opposing Kavanaugh because he was recently accused of sexually assaulting a girl when the two were in high school.
Ellison, who is now running for Minnesota attorney general, is currently facing two domestic-abuse allegations, but the anti-Kavanaugh protesters had nothing to say about the Democratic congressman.
“Do you think Keith Ellison should resign? He’s been accused of physical and mental abuse,” Hamil asked protesters, most of whom simply ignored her questions and walked away.
“I’m sorry, nothing is processing right now. I’m not answering,” one protester responded, with Hamil asking her if she has “protested Keith Ellison.”
“Why isn’t anyone protesting against Keith Ellison?” Hamil asked the crowd of protesters while they raised their fists in the air and proceeded to ignore the questions again.
One protester told Hamil that she believes “all women,” but then simply said “we’ll see” in response to whether Ellison should drop out of the race.
Apart from one protester who admitted that he has a lot to think about after hearing Hamil’s questions, not one of them stated that they believe Ellison should resign.
