John Pence, a former senior advisor to the Trump-Pence 2020 Campaign, was named chief executive officer of Ace Specialties.
The organization, which managed President Trump’s campaign merchandise operations, explained the move as an expansion of their existing commitment.
“As we gear up to equip candidates and companies nationwide to win in 2022 and beyond, we are pleased to announce today that John Pence has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of our company,” said Christl Mahfouz, founder and chairwoman of the Board of Ace Specialties. “President Trump helped put us on the map, and now that map is expanding for Ace Specialties as both political and non-political consumers increasingly value American-made merchandise, products and apparel.”
As a part of the new move, the organization described that the company is “expanding its reach to include organizations, influencers, musical artists, and conservative-run businesses.”
In recent years, the company’s growth has exploded. According to Mahfouz, Ace’s expansion has led the company to move to three different facilities: from a 7,000-square-foot facility to 12,000 square feet to now a 40,000-square-foot facility.
The company also places an emphasis on delivering products to consumers that display a “Made in America” tag.
“I am delighted to join Ace Specialties,” said Pence, the youngest senior advisor on the campaign. “We provide the ‘Made in America’ tag to deliver the finest merchandise, goods and services for causes, candidates, musicians, and companies everywhere.”
The Louisiana-based company, which is responsible for Trump’s iconic “red MAGA hat,” drew its origin during a downturn in the oil industry.
“And I just woke up one day and I was like, I don’t know how I’m gonna pay my bills. And I literally prayed every day, asking for direction, asking for you know, give me a sign, please tell me what I’m supposed to do. When President Trump announced he was running, as he was coming down the escalator, I saw a few people wearing t-shirts or holding t-shirts, and I said, that’s it,” Mahfouz described.
