Democratic Congressional candidate for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District, Amy McGrath said the closest she could come to describing how she felt after President Donald Trump’s election win was how she felt immediately after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.
McGrath was speaking at a “Meet the Candidates Series” event on Nov. 20, 2017 prior to winning her recent primary.
Several right-leaning news sites have highlighted her comments, although they have yet to break through in the mainstream media.
The newly released audio is available below.
McGrath, who just recently won her primary in Kentucky’s 6th district, said in November that after Trump’s win she felt the same “sinking feeling” that she had after learning of the 9/11 attacks.
“And then, of course, the results of the election, we have a new commander-in-chief,” McGrath said during an event by Indivisible Bourbon County. “And that morning I woke up like somebody had sucker punched me. I mean, I felt like, ‘what has just happened to my country?’”
“The only feeling I can describe that’s any close to it was the feeling I had after 9/11. ‘What just happened, where are we going from here,’ and it was that just sinking feeling of sadness, and I didn’t know what to do,” she continued.
[…] kind of moderate, the faux kind. As we have previously noted, Mrs McGrath stated that “The only feeling I can describe that’s any close to it (Donald Trump’s election victory) was the…” Mrs McGrath basically said, to the voters of the sixth district, 55% of whom cast their […]
I wonder if McGrath “likens” her liberal party’s endorsement of millions of abortions each year to the hollicost? I doubt it. They justify their own sin to promote their evil agenda.
This idealology from Mcgruff speaks volumes of just how blind she was/Is to the corruption and lies of the previous administrations before Trump. I would hope that her opinion has proven to be wrong now that Trump is doing all that he said he would do, since the majority of the nation voted him to be president for this very reason. Maybe like Clinton, McGrath believes we’re all deplorable people as well. Your little cry baby speech Is not believable but well rehearsed. It’s obvious you do not have enough grit to lead, you’re too weak. Is it me, or have all democrats overdosed on stupid pills? Can’t you morons just all move to California and leave the rest of this nation alone? Take the media with you when you go,they’re as evil and ignorant as you.
