A coalition of far-Left groups are organizing a number of protests in major U.S. cities across the country in solidarity with a national march on Washington, D.C. on Saturday to demand a “ceasefire” in Gaza. The move comes after four weeks of marches, protests, and demonstrations in support of the vicious surprise attack on Israeli civilians by Hamas militants on October 8th.
Protestors are directing their ire at President Joe Biden and Congress, who they say are “funding and supporting genocide.”
“Find a bus to join us & tens of thousands in a mass mobilization in D.C. on Nov 4th! Take to the streets for a #CeasefireNOW and #FreePalestine!” the DSA said on X Monday.

The DSA is teaming up with The People’s Forum to transport left-wing protestors to Washington.
The nine-member coalition of progressive, pro-Hamas groups also includes the Democratic Socialists of America, the ANSWER coalition, Al-Awda, National Students for Justice in Palestine, U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN), U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), Maryland2Palestine.
As reported by The Arizona Sun Times, some of the groups have troubling connections:
Al-Awda has been accused by pro-Israel groups of maintaining ties with terrorist organizations by way of its membership in the Palestinian Boycott, Divest, and Sanction National Committee, according to InfluenceWatch.
National Students for Justice in Palestine, as The Star News Network has detailed, has been accused of being “a terror-affiliated anti-Semitic network that currently operates with autonomy and impunity at colleges and universities across the United States.”
In all, organizers have 37 localities – most of which are east of the Mississippi River – from which they expect protestors to travel.
The number of endorsers for the mass protest listed on The People’s Forum website rests at 249 so far. Among them are:
- White Coats for Black Lives (WC4BL)
- Veterans for Peace
- CUNY for Palestine
- Dream Defenders
- Palestinian Feminist Collective
- CODEPINK
- The Queer Notion
