Tucker Carlson Interviews Bill O’Reilly in Latest Episode of ‘Tucker on X’

In episode 26 of his newest production, “Tucker on X,” Tucker Carlson sat down with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

O’Reilly, once the top-rated host in cable news, was fired from Fox News in 2017. He hosted “The O’Reilly Factor,” which was the highest-rated cable news show for 16 years. Carlson took over O’Reilly’s time slot shortly after his firing and maintained the same popularity in regards to ratings and popularity among conservatives.

During the 47-minute interview, Carlson and O’Reilly discussed a wide range of topics, including both hosts’ firing from Fox.

When Carlson noted that O’Reilly “got canned” six years before he did at the network, the former “Factor” host said he “accepted” his firing “right away,” explaining that he understands that individuals are expendable in the news industry, but also noted that his firing was not “out of the blue” like Carlson’s earlier this year.

When Carlson asked O’Reilly how he kept himself from “getting bitter” after his firing, he joked, “I’m just bitter about everything anyway. So, how much more bitter can I get?”

Later in the interview on the topic of news media, O’Reilly declared that there is “an active evil” that “probably runs the television industry.”

Moving onto the current state of politics, O’Reilly asserted that America is in an age of “disorder” under the Biden Administration due to the “progressive movement.”

“President Biden, in my opinion, is diminished mentally…The progressives like that because the people who control him outside of the White House can tell him anything and he’ll do it,” O’Reilly said.

O’Reilly went on to note that most Americans are unable to realize that the country is in a state of disorder due to the media’s conjunctive work with the progressive movement to suppress the issues facing the nation.

As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 7:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, had over 4.7 million views. The 26 episodes posted by @TuckerCarlson have been seen nearly 1.8 billion times on Twitter / X.
