Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Sunday expressed regret over eating at Chick-fil-A, because of the chicken company’s CEO’s personal views on gay marriage.
Dorsey tweeted a screenshot from his phone that showed a purchase he had made at Chick-fil-A using a mobile application. After a liberal backlash, however, Dorsey apologized for eating at the popular fast food restaurant.
At issue was Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy’s 2012 support for defining marriage as between a man and a woman, which he described as “the biblical definition of a family.”
Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien was among those to call out Dorsey for eating at the self-described home of the original chicken sandwich.
O’Brien indicated that Dorsey had sinned by publicly eating at Chick-fil-A during gay pride month.
“You’re right,” Dorsey conceded. “Completely forgot about their background.”

I completely support LGBT equality in marriage and everything else, but if my grandchildren want to eat chicken or any fast food, we go to this restaurant because it is the healthier choice, and the restaurant is quiet, with no music, which is a requirement for me. I don’t eat meat, so I don’t go there unless family is with me. I get a salad. Need some vegetarian restaurants. Used to go to Waffle House, but it is too loud and cold now. We try Zaxby’s sometimes, but the chicken, I don’t know.
TMI, but there you go. They won’t even fix a decent grilled cheese sandwich in the hamburger joints. The veggie burger at Burger King is terrible. Don’t want soy. Soy is actually bad for you.
That’s all I know.
So you support depravity and the destruction of society by promoting same sex union, yet healthy eating is important? Ironic
Bill, I have some clear ideas on what is destructive to this country, and your denial of civil rights is one of them.
Civil rights? Will incestuous relations or bestiality become a civil right we must condone one day as well Donna? And dont be naive, depravity has no limitations.7There’s a moral code this country was founded upon and it’s not found in your idea of civil rights. Strange how millions of unborn babies don’t have the same civil rights you’re so concerned about protecting.
How very sad! Political food now…good grief. We have gone so far amuck with this thinking that we can’t even eat healthy?
Because of the people’s rebellion and disobedience to God, He gave them over to their shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.men committed shameful acts with other men, and received for themselves the due penalty for their error. Romans 1:26-27
There’s another passage that reads, “there’s a way that seems right to man, but in the end leads to death.
Not my thoughts or words, but the creator of the universe, good luck disputing His perfect plan…
