Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty on All Charges

Friday, a jury in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. 

The jury deliberated on five charges against Rittenhouse, all related to Rittenhouse’s activity in Kenosha on Aug. 25, 2020. He killed two and wounded a third during riots over the death of Jacob Blake at the hands of police.

In the trial of Kenosha teenager Kyle Rittenhouse, new witness testimony reveals that Rittenhouse shot the first of three men in self-defense when the attacker lunged for his rifle in an attempt to take it from him, as reported by Fox News.

This account was given by Daily Caller reporter Richie McGinniss, who filmed part of the altercation on his cell phone. McGinniss said that the man in question, Joseph Rosenbaum, was actively chasing the armed Rittenhouse and, upon getting close to him, lunged for his weapon.

Target is pledging to ensure that Black employees make up at least 20 percent of its workforce. The Minneapolis-based corporation based their goal on a diversity report of 2019.

Biden to Visit Kenosha on Thursday After Blasting Trump for Visiting Riot-Torn City

After the Biden campaign criticized President Trump’s trip to Kenosha Wisconsin as “self-centered” and unproductive, former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, have announced that they will visit the riot-torn city on Thursday.

“Vice President Biden will hold a community meeting in Kenosha to bring together Americans to heal and address the challenges we face,” his campaign said in a press release. “After, Vice President Biden and Dr. Biden will make a local stop.”

Kenosha Sees Nearly $2M in Damage to City Property

Fox News reports, destruction to city-owned property caused by rioters over the last week following the police shooting of Jacob Blake has climbed to nearly $2 million, city officials said Monday night.

“Right now, we’re estimating between lost equipment, lost street lights, lost traffic signals, and miscellaneous sign damage – we’re estimating a cost of approximately $1.9 million,” said Kenosha Public Works Director Shelly Billingsley, in an update reported to the Public Works Committee.
